Inspiration - Net-a-Porter
In further exploration of the back of my closet I pulled out this button up top from Banana Republic that I bought around 2005. It definitely has a very slim fit cut, compared to the more trendy blousey silhouettes of shirts in stores, which might slightly date it as being 10 years old. But I've been eating my veggies and running around a lot these past few months so the fact that I fit this shirt for the first time in over two years is reason enough to wear it!

Welcome back and congrats on fitting into the top! Love pink and black.
ReplyDeleteI love this with the snakeskin pumps and your bracelet is fab!

I think fitted tops look much better, old or not, it looks fabulous on you! In comparison of the two pictures (inspiration and yours) you have a defined figure, while the other looks like a sack!
ReplyDeleteGreat job!
I agree with Bobbi! I have some similarly cut blouses in the back of my closet, too. I think I'm going to try one next week.
ReplyDeleteI don't think your blouse looks dated - it's a classic button-up shirt, which is more of a timeless staple. I think you look fabulous and professional!
ReplyDeleteYou look great! I have a Banana Republic fitted button down in bubble gum pink. I wore it to a meeting recently, with black cropped pants and black ballet flats and got a couple compliments. Glad to know I'm on the right track with you MK!!
