outfit post: white cardigan, floral blouse, grey pants, nude wedges

Inspiration - What Not to Wear

I am totally in love with this Target crepe shell I got a few weeks ago. (I want to go back and get the mint green patterned one too.) It's especially great because it has so many pretty colors in the floral pattern that it pairs with a ton of different cardigans. And since currently I'm in a limited section of my wardrobe, wearing it with lots of different cardigans stretches a blouse I can fit into more outfits. Only issue now is finding more inspiration pictures of similar tops so I can keep posting it here on the blog. :)

  1. For me anyway, I don't think you always HAVE to have an inspiration photo. I know that's the normal format, but if you wear this again, just post it. :) Plus, a lot of people probably have that blouse (my work bestie included) and would like ideas on how to style it. Check out Cyndi Spivey's blog where she used this in her "28 days of spring fashion" posts for more inspiration.

    1. Thanks for the feedback. I'm such a nerd about consistency & loving having the same format everyday. But maybe I should live dangerously and try one day with no inspiration and see how it feels? :)

Thanks for the tip about Cyndi's blog, I'll definitely check out her outfits!

  2. I wanted this shirt so badly but they didn't have my size anymore :( it's so hard to find nice floral tops I've found.

    1. Boo. Maybe Target will restock? Fingers crossed! I know what you mean - there are so many blah floral patterns. I try to grab ones I love when I see them.

  3. Can I confess I not only have this floral top, I have it in one other pattern and 3 other solids? It's perfect for travel, work and casual wear which is hard to beat, plus it's easy to wash and doesn't wrinkle much! Win. I love seeing the different styling options, it didn't occur to me to pair the print with white, for example, but it looks great!

    1. Lol! When it works it works! I agree that it's great about not wrinkling - I think you just inspired me to get the other pattern I was eying! :)
