Inspiration - Kelly Ripa
Love this stretchy jersey pencil skirt I bought from Old Navy last year. I still don't fit into any of my other pencil skirts so it's nice to have at least one option for work that isn't a dress or pant. (Last summer I did 7 outfits with 7 pieces using this skirt.)
On another note - my super smart & career savvy long time friend Josh is launching a free email course called, "How to get promoted in 7 days." I got a preview of the material and I think it's pretty great advice. If you'd be interested in receiving the course by email you can click here to register for free! (It starts on May 14th.)

This is just perfect! I've been on a pencil skirt kick lately (as in, I've been buying them, but yet to wear them) but have been afraid to wear a tucked in shirt, as it will bring attention my post-baby bump. Glad to be reminded that it can look great untucked too!

Yay for untucked shirt club! Gotta do what we gotta do! :)
DeleteYou look so amazing for recently having a baby! I love this pencil skirt too - you can't go wrong with black and white!

DeleteI like YOUR outfit better than the one Kelly Ripa
ReplyDeletehas on.
I've been following your blog for a little while now, and have notice you never show your face.
Why is that?
Just curious, that's all.
Congratulations on your new baby
Thanks! I wanted the blog to just be about the outfits - I work for a big software company and don't want my face all over the internet. Also, some people tell me they can visualize themselves in clothes better when they aren't distracted by what I look like... :)
