Inspiration - Express
I found this blouse at Express (**update just saw it's 40% right now!) and I am in love. I am always on the lookout for easy work appropriate tops. When I first saw the shirt on the hanger I was a little concerned that the keyhole would show too much cleavage and ruin the suitability for the office. But I tried it on and found that the cutout is high enough that, even if you are larger chested like me, it's still conservative. And it's the kind of fabric that doesn't wrinkle very easily. Score.
The only issue I had was deciding which of the seven colors to buy. I finally went with lilac because I don't own many purple toned tops. And now that I have the blouse home and find myself wanting to wear it everyday - I am considering going back to get another color. :)

Love that top! Is it sheer enough to require a tank/chemise underneath?
ReplyDeleteI felt comfortable wearing it without a cami but it was borderline.
DeleteI really like the white belt!
ReplyDeleteThanks!
DeleteI have been stalking your blog for weeks and I just wanted to tell you that I love your style. I've gotten so much inspiration. Whenever someone compliments any of my outfits now, I send them to your site! Oh, and I totally bought the top featured today (in teal). Added bonus? Today they're offering free shipping - yay!
ReplyDeleteYay! I hope you love it as much as I do! (I went back because of the sale and bought pink & white - wanted teal but they were sold out.)
DeleteI loved this enough to brave the Saturday shopping crowds. At the store, they also have a purple spotted one. I ended up buying that and the lilac one you posted. Thank you! So perfect for spring!
