outfit post: black sweater, white puffer vest, black skinny jeans, black boots, grey bag

Inspiration - Kate Bosworth

As I was putting away laundry this weekend, I pulled down a plastic box full of sweaters from the top of the closet and saw this puffer vest. Because I know there are tons of you out there with lots of ice & snow right now - I decided to take a quick cold weather outfit photo for those who might appreciate it. (This outfit is a little ridiculous considering the unseasonably warm weather we are having in Florida right now.) I'm not the best with winter-wear but I hope you like it! :)

  2. I wore almost the same outfit the other day!! Only instead of the puffer vest, it was a wool coat!!

  3. It was -15 degrees here today with wind chill. I live in skinny jeans and knee high boots in the winter. They keep your legs warm, and you don't end up with soggy, dirty pants at the ankle from trudging through the snow. No heel on my regular winter pants though, ice is too slippery. I've never been a vest person, but I've seen some cute looks with them lately. I like how they look over patterned or plaid/flannel shirts to kind of break up the pattern a bit. I may have to pick one up soon.

    1. Sounds like you need all the warmth you can get with that kind of temperature! I hope you stay warm!

  4. I completed your survey and forgot to add how much I appreciate how fast the pages load on your site. On other sites I can walk away and do other things while the pages load and they still take forever. Also love the way your site is organized by clothing category/inspiration, etc.
Also, Love your style. Very similar weather in your locale to here in California so almost everything is always weather appropriate. (sorry to the rest of the country experiencing cold weather)
