outfit post: black lace strapless dress

This is my go-to formal event holiday dress. (Last worn on blog here.) I found it at Loft quite a few years ago. I tried it on and discovered it has this wonderful inside bodice thing that holds all my top half bits and pieces exactly where they should be. And then the skirt drapes away from the body at the waist in a way that allows lots of holiday cookies & wine. Perfect.
