(outfits 13-16) one suitcase: paris vacation capsule wardrobe

Post 5/7 - The purpose of the "One Suitcase" feature is to try to show you how you can pare down your packing list when you travel without sacrificing the number or variety of outfits you have for the range of activities your trip may entail. I have learned through trial and error (and the pain of lugging wayyy too big a suitcase) that by packing a few favorite & versatile pieces of clothing I can mix and match the items into a surprising number of outfit options. You just have to do a little planning up front. Hopefully the posts this week will show you my method and help you find the potential of the clothes you already have in your closet!

                      1. Hi, MK--

Just found your blog. It's the fashion magazine I've always wanted, without ads or hype, and also I really like your choices. I'm a 49-y-o kindergarten teacher, parent and poet and I need real, easy clothes that work together consistently but don't get boring. Thanks for taking all the time and trouble to get your mix of outfits up on the web, and tell those electrical plates that show up in every shot that they are lookin' good! : )

I hope you had fun in Paris--I lived there for a year and never quite figured out how to get the French woman's look (but then I don't have Parisian skinny genes). Thanks again--I'll be back whenever I need this kind of fun!

                        1. Thanks so much for taking the time to comment & say such sweet things! I'm really glad you find the blog useful!

Paris was wonderful - and the best part was getting quality time with my best friend. I can't believe how amazing it would be to live there! That must have been a great experience!
