outfit post: black 3/4 sleeved dress, studded gladiator sandals

Inspiration - Piperlime Splendid

(Crazy psychos please disregard this photo of my head. Please pretend I'm still anonymous.)

Paris with the bestie has been totally amazing so far! We have walked and walked and walked around the city taking in the sights & sounds & wonderful atmosphere - and chatted each others ears off from living apart for so many years.

I love this dress because I think I can style it a billion ways. I wore it with a fun strong necklace and gladiators for sightseeing today. But I could dress it up with a pretty necklace and heels just as easily. Will definitely show options I come up with when I do my One Suitcase post when I get back.

We just realized it's Paris fashion week here and at some point we want figure out how to celebrity stalk famous people going into shows. But we're dummies and can't seem to figure out where the shows are actually located. What bad stalkers. Whoopsie. :)

  1. Did you notice that your inspiration is missing (half) their head :)

Glad you are having a good time!

  2. That is a great dress. (And you have some gorgeous hair!) How did you feel the sizing was on the dress? I just peeked at it on Piperlime and some of the reviews said it ran a bit small.

    1. Thanks! Yeah - I sized up. I'm 5'7" and I bought a large. I usually wear an 8/10 in pants or a 6/8 in dresses.

  3. OMG!!! This blog is totally amazing. I'm about to start a business-casual job, and the thing is that ... I own a lot of pieces similar to the ones that you are posting, but it would NEVER occur to me to mix and match the way you do. You're totally amazing. I just discovered pinterest solely for the purpose of collecting outfits I can sort of replicate. I'm a little clueless in the style department, and wish to inform you that you are providing an extremely valuable public service! THANK YOU!

  4. I'm the bowled-over anon from before, one question: is your polka dot skirt navy or black?!

  5. Oh I miss Paris, I went there with one of my besties. We went to the Crazy Horse Saloon. It's where the inspiration for the movie Burlesque came from :)

    2. No problem! Since this is an outfit website. I wore a Marlyn Monroe style black polka dot dress and red heels :-)
