Inspiration - Karolina Kurkova
This outfit is almost the exact same as the one I wore in January with burgundy cropped pants. I think tucking the shirt in, adding a belt and wearing a jacket instead of cardigan makes it a more business casual (emphasis on the casual) appropriate sort of look compared to the first time I wore it.
Some days (like this one) I wish this blog was just photos of me in my clothes instead of having to stand next to beautiful celebrities and drop dead gorgeous super models everyday. People who's very job it is is to make clothing look amazing. Photos that have stylists, makeup artist, people ironing and paying attention to tiny fit & photographic details that would never eve occur to me.
Other days (most days actually) I love the blog layout of before/after/inspiration/recreation and showing where the idea came from no matter who I'm standing next to. I guess today I just didn't feel like a 10 foot tall glamazon. :)
Blue cropped pants worn previously:
- Print blouse & boyfriend jacket
- Striped grey & white boyfriend cardigan
- Black cardigan & geometric top
- Grey tank & black blazer
- Polka-dot tie neck blouse & black cardigan
- Polka-dot blouse & black t-strap wedges
- Striped tank & wedges

You always look fab! And that's without a crew setting up the shots for a magazine. Your clothes always look great, fit well and I always like your outfit better than the inspiration! Love this look for work. Not sure I could pull off cropped pants/heels but looks very cool/professional on you.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much Ann!
DeleteI LOVE those cobalt blue pants! I'm on a blue kick these days, so I would love to find a similar pair. Guess I need to check out the "similar" links you included!
ReplyDeleteThank you! Good luck finding a pair. I hope you find the perfect ones! (I wanted to link to the express ones I bought but they don't have them anymore.) :(
DeleteI just have to tell you that of all the blogs I follow, yours is my hands down favorite. Everything you put together are outfits I can actually recreate or draw inspiration from -and still feel like I can wear them in the 'real world'. Thanks for helping me be creative with my wardrobe, and for the inspiration!
ReplyDeleteAw! Thank you so much! :)
Deletethis is a great look and is totally something I would wear to work! xo

DeleteIts funny you say that - cos I think I like your look better than hers and I *hope* I dont get flak for this- You look like a real woman over a mannequin :)
ReplyDeleteThank you!!
DeleteLove, love, love this outfit. Perfect!!!! By the way dont' knock yourself, Celebrities have stylist and hair people to help keep them gorgeous. You look amazing, way better than the celebrity and plus your style and look is real. There's isn't. I read your blog because you show how real women can wear what celebrities wear.
