Inspiration - Nordstrom
I had fun watching the Oscars on Sunday night and admiring all the glitter and glitz. Makes me wish that I had any sort of occasion in my life that required a full-on fancy pants ball gown with sparkle. My life contains lots of work days, some nice dinners, lots of casual days, the occasional wedding/baby-shower and a few nights on the town... all lovely events but zero reasons to wear a ball gown. It really seems like life should contain more reasons to wear a ridiculously extravagant dress! Need to start working on that one... :)

Your outfit looks better. The fit of the sweater is much better.
ReplyDeleteLol. I actually popped over from my feed reader just to say exactly what Judy did - that your sweater is the right length for it, and the inspiration photo's sweater is too long.
ReplyDeleteTotally agree with Judy and Marisa - you look better. This is a great outfit.
ReplyDeleteI like your outfit way better than the picture. I love that skirt.

I agree with the previous comments that your outfit looks better. For me it isn't just one piece, but each individual piece is better for me.
ReplyDeleteCome to New Orleans and get on with a mardi gras krewe. I get to get flamed up in sparkly ball gowns at least twice a year!
ReplyDeleteNot flamed up...glammed up. Stupid auto correct.
ReplyDeletenice outfit, perfect for work! love how the pattern and color add interest!
