Post 4/8 - The purpose of the "One Suitcase" feature is to try to show you how you can pare down your packing list when you travel without sacrificing the number or variety of outfits you have for the range of activities your trip may entail. I have learned through trial and error (and the pain of lugging wayyy too big a suitcase) that by packing a few favorite & versatile pieces of clothing I can mix and match the items into a surprising number of outfit options. You just have to do a little planning up front. Hopefully the posts this week will show you my method and help you find the potential of the clothes you already have in your closet!

**The last day of this series of posts has a very tall downloadable image with the 14 clothing pieces and all 30 outfits for easy reference - found here.**
This is probably my favorite set of posts from you in awhile. Although I don't do a lot of work travel, this is still a very useful series even for day-to-day dressing! I love it :) Your outfits are always so classy.
ReplyDeleteI love this post and all the ones from this week. Very inspirational for helping me pack in the future. I don't travel for business but the idea can be applied to any sort of packing. Great blog.

I agree that this can be applied for all sorts of trips - business, fun.
ReplyDeleteLove these posts!
Also, what do you use to carry your jewelry? I've been trying to find a good solution that will keep my necklaces from getting knotted up. I've yet to find anything that works.
Just wanted to pipe in and say I LOVE this series as well!
ReplyDeleteSome fantastic pieces! I love the polka dot skirt ensemble. It's very classic and chic!

Yay! Sometimes I wonder if I'm wandering down too random a road (away from the fun & working formula of trying to recreate great inspiration outfits) so I'm super glad that you guys are finding the posts interesting & useful! :)
ReplyDeleteAs for carrying jewelry - I don't have a great solution. I typically just use one the little bags that sometimes come with free makeup gift kits. Let me know if you find anything!
