outfit post: mustard pencil skirt, striped shirt, teal necklace

Inspiration - Her Blog via Pinterest

This outfit is the exact reason I have this blog - I never in a million years would have come up with this particular combination on my own. But trying on everything together, I really like the result. I feel really trendy in this outfit. I have the bright colors trend, the striped shirt trend and the bubble necklace trend all wrapped up in one outfit.

Top:
Striped black and white long sleeve - H&M
Bottom:
     Mustard pencil skirt - JCrew
Shoes:
     Nude pumps - Aldo
Accessories:
     Black purse - Coach
     Gold belt - Target
Teal bubble necklace - JCrew via Ebay

  1. I think this one has to be my favorite outfit of yours so far. It's fantastic! But then again, I'm a sucker for mustard yellow, stripes, and the bubble necklace...so put 'em together and I'm sold! :)

    1. Thank you so much!! I feel the same way. Add mustard or stripes and I'm super happy! And the necklace always makes me feel cool. Thank goodness for eBay prices!

  2. I love this look! I didn't know if you knew, but J did the EXACT look (even the same pieces from the same stores!) as you!

    1. Thank you so much!

I emailed J this outfit post & photos a few weeks ago to be a guest blogger while she is on vacation. She wrote me back the day before she posted her outfit you linked to above that she decided not to use my submission, "based on picture quality, outfit inspiration photos, and then a variety of types of outfits."

    1. I don't think it should affect your ability to enjoy reading her blog & viewing her outfits. :)
